What are the objectives of the partnership?

The overall goal of the WfWfW partnership is to advance the internationally agreed principles for sustainable water management by turning these into day-to-day practice. The aim is to make progress at the local level through:

• establishing a broad alliance between national and international women's organisations functioning as an interface between local women groups, (inter)national networks and organisations responsible for sustainable water management.
• addressing the institutional barriers preventing women and men from enjoying equal rights and opportunities. Thus, providing the missing link between macro- and microlevel interventions.
